Notes:
- Baby F8
- No smartphone control
- Mono screen
- Timecode support
- Full size XLR outs (yay)
- Haven’t seen anything apart from the B&H video so perhaps this has been published a little early? (Nothing on Zoom’s site at the time of recording).

Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di USD G2
Notes:
- First version was a popular lens. Had massive range for the price and was a reasonable lens
- Personal experience found the IS “jumpy”
- Sigma “contemporary” equivalent was better IS wise, but still could be better. The Sport version was better overall, but heavy.
- More effective image stabilization (to a claimed 4.5 stops of benefit)
- Faster AF speed
- $1399 US
- Also announced Tamron announces new 1.4X and 2X teleconverters – https://www.dpreview.com/news/1288769210/tamron-announces-new-1-4x-and-2x-teleconverters

CANON ANNOUNCES EOS C700 AND XC15 PRO 4K CAMERAS
Notes:
- C700 is Canon’s high end brother to the C100 and C300. Priced to compete with Panasonic Varicam’s and Arri Amira. NOT the high end of low end. $28000US with no lens, memory or accessories.
- XC15 builds on the XC10 which wasn’t well received
- Still has a slow Integrated f/2.8-5.6/8.9-89mm Zoom Lens
- Cfast and SD (4k goes to Cfast, photos and 1080 to SD)
- Look modes to match other Canon Pro gear
- Adds XLR via MA-400 Mic Adapter (in the box). Adapter carries over from C300
- For the price we’d likely stick to Sony’s RX10

- $209 3 hour shoot, 20 images
