Chris takes a look at the latest version of the noise reduction plugin from Neat Video. In this video, he focuses on the new feature of flicker reduction to see how well it can correct footage shot in slow-mo or with other flickering or strobing lights.
As you can see from the video, Neat Video does a really solid job of dealing with flicker reduction, and it’s noise reduction capabilities are still very solid (after faster in this version!).
This means that those shooting in challenging lighting conditions may now be able to get by with just the one plugin, rather than needing Neat Video for noise reduction and something like Digital Anarchy’s De-Flicker tool (which is also rather great by itself!)
